Gas logs · DFW & Coastal Alabama
Real flames tonight. No firewood. No mess.
Vented and ventless gas log sets sized, installed and tuned for your fireplace—propane or natural gas. Send a photo and the opening measurements and we quote it from the office.
A clearer service experience
The right set starts with the right measurements.
A log set that is too big smokes and soots the glass. One that is too small looks like a campfire in a cave. We size the set to your firebox, confirm the fuel and venting, and give you a written quote before anything is ordered. The result is a fireplace you turn on with a switch and guests notice the moment they walk in.
What we handle
Focused service. Clear next steps.
Every recommendation is based on your firebox, your fuel and how you want the room to look and feel—not whatever is on the truck.

Real service evidence
Real installs. Clear answers. No guesswork.
“Crue knew exactly what the issue was with our gas fireplace. He ordered the part, returned to finish the job and communicated well.”

The diagnostic visit covers an existing set that will not light, stays lit poorly or soots the glass. New or replacement sets are quoted after sizing, with the set, labor and any gas-line or valve work listed out.
The 1st Choice standard
Simple, respectful and well explained.
Understand
We ask for a photo of the firebox, the opening width, depth and height, and whether gas is already at the fireplace.
Evaluate
We confirm venting, fuel and clearances, then recommend a vented or ventless set that fits your fireplace and your area.
Install & light
We set the burner, arrange the logs and ember bed, test for leaks, and light it with you watching.

Vented or ventless gas logs—which should I get?
Vented logs give the fullest, most realistic flame but run with the damper open, so most of the heat goes up the chimney. Ventless logs run with the damper closed and put heat into the room, but the flame is smaller and bluer, and they are restricted or not allowed in some areas. We check your fireplace and your local rules before recommending either.
How much do gas logs cost installed?
It depends on the set, the size and whether gas is already at the fireplace. Send a photo and the opening measurements and we quote it from the office at no charge. Service on an existing set is $229 for the diagnostic visit.
How do I measure my fireplace for gas logs?
Measure the front width, the back width, the depth and the height of the opening. Note whether the fireplace is masonry or a metal prefab box, and whether a gas line is already there. Those five things tell us which sets fit.
Can I put gas logs in a wood-burning fireplace?
Usually, yes—if a gas line can be run and the chimney and damper are in sound condition. We inspect the flue first. A metal prefab firebox has to be rated for the gas log set you want.
